Onward Ticket for Thailand: What Worked for Me

Many travelers to Thailand are asked to show an onward flight. I avoid last-minute stress by ordering a temporary onward ticket (valid 24–72h) 1–2 days before flying. It’s cheap and I receive a PNR by email.

For visas I sometimes use iVisa, but for onward proof, the rental ticket has been the simplest solution.

Quick steps

  1. Inbound flight to Thailand booked.
  2. Order onward ticket 24–48h pre-departure.
  3. Save confirmation + PNR offline.
  4. Show it when requested at check-in/border.
