Onward Ticket for Vietnam: Easy, Cheap & Accepted
For Vietnam I follow the same routine: instead of buying a real return, I order a temporary onward ticket with a real booking code (PNR). It’s valid for 24–72 hours and costs about €15–25.
I order it 24–48 hours before my flight, save the email offline, and present it if an airline agent or immigration asks. So far, no issues.
If you also want a streamlined visa application, check my iVisa review. For the onward requirement, the temporary reservation does the job.
My 4-step checklist
- Book your inbound flight to Vietnam.
- Order an onward ticket 24–48h before departure.
- Keep PNR + PDF ready (save offline/print).
- Show it on request at check-in or arrival.
