Initially, we were excited about the idea but often dismissed it due to concerns about animal welfare. However, this time in Tenerife was different. We researched beforehand and concluded that whale watching here is acceptable. The boat is a small motorized dinghy, and the guide can tell you everything about the animals. You get the feeling that they truly care about the welfare of the animals and do everything to protect them.
